News & Events
There have been a few pattern releases for the first half of February! I just want to take a moment to be thankful and amazed by the range of lingerie, swimwear, and activewear patterns that are available to us currently. And I can only imagine that the choices available to us will continue to grow in the future!
New Size Range Available for the Devonshire Underwire Bra Pattern
Norma of Orange Lingerie has made the Devonshire Bra pattern available in DDD-J cups! As per the pattern designer:
The DDD to J size range is separate from our standard size range because these larger cup sizes require important pattern changes to get the same styling, lift and shaping as the original pattern and are graded separately.
The key differences between the extended and the standard size range include using fabric instead of lace for the cups for extra stability, a higher center front bridge for secure containment of the breasts and wider fabric strap with a more robust attachment.
You can purchase the Devonshire Bra Pattern in sizes 30DDD-40J here.
New Underwear Pattern: Selene Thong
House Morrighan just released the Selene Thong Pattern! Available in sizes 2-30. As per the pattern designer:
The Selene Thong is designed to be made from stretch knits only.
It features 2 waist and leg rise options and an enclosed gusset. Option of fabric bands or elastic to finish.
You can purchase the Selene Thong pattern here.
New Bra Pattern: Axis Tank
We have a double pattern release by Sophie Hines! First up is the Axis Tank pattern. As per the pattern designer:
The Axis Tank is the ultimate comfortable bra. You can wear it alone, layered with another bra, or to sleep in. Worn with a shaped, supportive bra, the Axis Tank distributes tension around your torso, relieving tight spots and uncomfortable restriction. It’s just the thing to layer with sheer tops, and is a super comfortable option to wear under sweaters and layers. Two neckline options work with a range of clothing styles, and both options are available with or without beautiful geometric design lines, creating panels that can be used for color blocking or trim insertion.
Side note: I LOVE the look of this pattern! This one is going in my ever growing sewing queue.
You can purchase the Axis Tank Pattern here.
New Underwear Pattern: Median Knickers
The second pattern release by Sophie Hines is the Median Knickers pattern! As per the pattern designer:
The Median Knickers are high waist, full coverage undies. View one has super simple, classic seamlines, and view two has geometric design lines that are perfect for color blocking, sheer panels, or trim insertion. The crotch is cut wide to always stay in place, is fully lined, and uses a great trick to enclose all the seams.
You can purchase the Median Knickers Pattern here.
New Bra Pattern: Luccia Underwire Bra
Idonim Lingerie (a new to me lingerie pattern & supplies brand) also released the Luccia Underwire Bra! The pattern features a 3-piece cup and the upper cup is designed to show off lace scallop edges.
Note: the pattern is in French.
You can purchase the Luccia Underwire Bra Pattern here.
New Swim Top Pattern: Ally Top
We also have a double pattern release by Edgewater Ave. First up is the Ally Top, a low cut design with a knot at the center front.
You can purchase the Ally Top pattern here.
New Swim Top: Noah Top
Next up we have the Noah Top pattern, which is a pullover bikini top with a cutout at the center front underbust area.
You can purchase the Noah Top pattern here.
New Underwear Pattern: Éternité Menstrual Panties
Etoffe Malicieuse made their Éternité Mensutral Panties pattern available this month. They also published a post on fabric suggestions for the pattern.
Note: This pattern is in French.
You can purchase the Éternité Menstrual Panties Pattern here.
New Underwear Pattern: Elodie Briefs
Primrose Dawn Designs also released a new underwear pattern: Elodie Briefs. As per the pattern designer:
The Elodie Briefs are a perfect combination of comfort and feminine details. Basic briefs with a fully enclosed gusset get a sophisticated upgrade with sheer side panels and lace details.
Style options include lace overlays for both narrow and wide stretch lace trim, and side panels using wide stretch lace trim. With a comfortable fit, the mid-length rise and full coverage bottom make the Elodie Briefs an everyday staple for your lingerie drawer.
You can purchase the Elodie Briefs pattern here.
That’s it for this roundup! I’ll be back on February 29th, 2020 with the next roundup. Thanks for reading!
