Rose/Ivory & Nude/Ivory Lady Shorts
Happy 2017 guys! I can’t believe it’s already the new year! To start it off right, I made some new underwear for myself!
Today’s post features Cloth Habit’s Lady Shorts! It’s a free pattern by Amy of Cloth Habit and I have no idea why it took me so long to make this pattern. The fit is fabulous and the best part about this pattern is that it’s graded in numeric sizing! This means you can really fine tune the fit.
This is the first time I’ve used narrow elastic trim to finish the waistband and leg openings. Verdict? Love it! It’s soft to the skin and less fussy to sew than picot elastic or FOE.
This pattern is very beginner friendly, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to dabble in lingerie. The materials required are scant and Amy has a helpful recommended materials post here and construction post here.

Happy new year Ying!
I’m loving your version of the ladyshorts! I’ve made them before, but it has been awhile, so thanks for reminding me of this great pattern! I agree about the stretch lacy elastic trim — so easy to sew, so comfy to wear! Plus, it’s really pretty!
I’m delighted that you will be adding stretch mesh to your shop soon!
