Pattern Review: Evie la Lùve Bella Knickers
Hi guys, today I have a pattern review. I’ve been admiring Evie la Lùve’s patterns for a while: they’re modern and chic and designed by someone who has a great eye for fashion. I love how she sews up colorful and fun samples of her patterns and showcases them. You can find her work here.
I purchased the Bella Knickers PDF sewing pattern and made a few pairs last week.

Pros:
- The pattern is beginner friendly. It requires very little material and it sews up quickly.
- The PDF sewing instructions are clear and easy to understand. The pattern was easy to print and assemble.
- The pattern maker has a YouTube Channel with instructions for how to sew up this pattern. You can find the video here. If you are a visual learner, the how-to video is a nifty feature!
Cons:
- This is a personal preference, but the rise on these panties are very, very low! After making the first pair, I added 1/2″ rise front and back and I still find them on the low side. For someone who prefers panties to sit higher, you will have to make a rise adjustment to the pattern.
I was also able to practice my FOE application with this pattern. I think I’m improving. If only marginally.
