October 11th 2019 Edition // Lingerie Sewing – Weekend Roundup

October 11, 2019

Welcome to the October 11th, 2019 Edition of Lingerie Sewing: Weekend Round Up!

If you are new around here: The Lingerie Sewing: Weekend Roundup is a curation of a few projects/ongoing events in the lingerie making community. It’s a quick catch up for you to enjoy over the weekend with a cup of coffee or tea. If you want to be part of the weekend roundup, shoot me an email at thetailormadeblog[@]gmail.com with links to your instagram, blog post, or just photos if you don’t have a blog and I’ll be sure to include your work!

This week’s roundup image features the Darcey Sports Bra! I pattern hacked Evie la Luve’s popular Darcey Bra Pattern and turned it into a sports bra.

New Bra Pattern: Lexington Bra

Orange Lingerie released their first ever wire free pattern: the Lexington Bra! As per the pattern designer:

The Lexington bra provides wire-free support and shaping by using a combination of cut-and-sew foam and side seam boning.

You can purchase the Lexington Bra Pattern here.

New Undie Pattern: Trixie Briefs

Jennifer Lauren Handmade also released a new underwear pattern this week: The Trixie Briefs! As per the pattern maker:

The Trixie Briefs have a higher rise at the back and full bum coverage — they’re star jump proof and the ultimate in everyday comfort, all while being a quick and satisfying make.

With classic or panelled options, you can make Trixie in your choice of a modern hipster brief or a 50s-inspired true high-waisted style (sitting above your belly button, at your natural waist).

You can get the Trixie Briefs Pattern here.

That’s it for this week! Have a great weekend everyone.
