March 29th 2019 Edition // Lingerie Sewing – Weekend Roundup
Welcome to the March 29th, 2019 Edition of Lingerie Sewing: Weekend Round Up!
The Lingerie Sewing: Weekend Roundup is a curation of a few projects/ongoing events in the lingerie making community. It’s a quick catch up for you to enjoy over the weekend with a cup of coffee or tea. If you want to be part of the weekend roundup, shoot me an email at thetailormadeblog[@]gmail.com with links to your instagram, blog post, or just photos if you don’t have a blog and I’ll be sure to include your work!
This week’s roundup image once again features the lacy Darcey Bra by Evie la Luve. This is not a pattern this is currently available–it is a pattern hack of the Darcey Bra Pattern. Here’s how to do the lacy Darcey pattern hack if you own the pattern. I’ve also made additional pattern modifications to accommodate the cut and sew foam.

News & Events
There are a few pattern releases this week!
Queenie Bralette by Evie la Luve
First up, we have the Queenie Bralette by Evie la Luve. This is a new bralette pattern that features only ONE pattern piece. It’s a pullover style so you don’t need a hook and eye closure to sew it.
You can purchase the Queenie Bralette pattern here.
Cheryl Panty by Pin-Up Girls
Next up we have a new pattern by the Fairy Bra Mother. As per the pattern maker: The Cheryl Back Seam Panty Pattern has a front like a brief and the shapely back of the boy shorts, giving you the best of both worlds. The Panty Pattern includes 4 views, with two height options (waist or hipster), and two leg options (regular cut and high cut). Hip sizes 32-54″ (81-137 cm) included in the pattern.
You can purchase the Cheryl Panty Pattern here. (Note: this is a paper pattern!)
Free Triangle Bralette Pattern by Klaudia Prusinska
Klaudia has generously released a free triangle bralette pattern over at her blog! The pattern is currently available in Polish, but there are tons of photo instructions on her blog.
You can download the free pattern here.
Update 4/5/19: the free pattern is available in English here.
The Monthly Stitch April 2019 Challenge: Sewing Underthings
The Monthly Stitch hosts monthly sew-alongs and the theme for April 2019 is undergarments. Join in on the fun by sewing panties, bras, bralettes, shapewear, etc and sharing your makes! You can learn more about the challenge here.
That’s it for this week. Have a great weekend everyone!
