Lingerie Sewing Making Weekend Round Up Tailor Made Shop Bra Making Underwear Making

Hi guys, I want to introduce a new weekly blog post series. The Lingerie Sewing: Weekend Roundup will be posted every Friday with news and projects from the lingerie making community.

From this week:

Henna made a super fun neon yellow and pink Boylston Bra with a partial band. You can view her project here.

Karu of Studio Costura wrote a round-up post of her December lingerie makes. She had a busy month! Her makes include the Watson Bra, the Boylston Bra, the Madalynne x Simplicity 8228 Halter View A Bralette, and her self-drafted underwear patterns. You can read her post here.

Sarah of OhhhLuluSews released two new panty patterns! You can get The Ultimate Lace Thong & Panties pattern here and The Claudia Panties here.

The Holiday Sale at Tailor Made Shop is still on! You have until Saturday December 24th, 2016 11:59PM EST to take 10% off your purchase. Use promo code HOLIDAY16. The coupon will work on www.tailormadeshop.com and www.etsy.com/shop/Tailormadeshoppe.

Craftsy is running a holiday sale from now through Monday December 26th, 2016 11:59PM MT. All classes are under $20. If you’ve been meaning to start sewing lingerie, now is a good time to stock up on the following classes.

If you are new to sewing lingerie and want to start with something basic, I would recommend Beverly Johnson’s Sewing Panties: Construction & Fit course.

Ready to tackle your first underwire bra? Then sign up for Beverly Johnson’s Sewing Bras: Construction & Fit course!

If you’ve made a couple of bras and you’re ready to expand your lingerie sewing skill set, then I recommend the following classes:

Sewing Bras: Designer Techniques by Beverly Johnson

Sewing Bras: Foam, Lace, & Beyond by Beverly Johnson

Sewing Lingerie: Essential Techniques by Allison Smith

(Please note that clicking on the Craftsy links and purchasing any course will result in a small affiliate commission for me. Thank you for your support. <3)

Have a great weekend everyone!

This weekly roundup is a great idea! I love finding new lingerie sewing blogs to read and for inspiration. Sometimes it’s hard to visualise what fabrics etc will look good until someone’s project inspires.
